• Project Description:
  The American Canyon Town Center is a Mixed-Use Village consisting of civic, retail, entertainment, commercial, and residential uses organized around Main Street and the Town Square. The site’s history dates back to 1900 when it was a limestone and basalt quarry and several of the original structures remain. These ruins are reflected in several elements of the design including seating in the town square and building materials. The ruins will also host events such as outdoor movie viewings, weddings, exhibitions, and concerts. The Town Center, a classic urban element in historic downtown, will be used for Art Fairs, Farmer’s Markets, and smaller outdoor performances, while also providing a canvas for the integration of Public Art into multiple aspects of the design.
