  vanderToolen Associates (vTA) was recently selected as the landscape architect of record for the expansion of the Sacramento International Airport. vTA will coordinate its efforts with Archiverde Landscape Architects of Dallas, Texas. vTA and Archiverde will be responsible for the landscape design of the new passenger Terminal B and the Terminal B garage. Scope of work will include all exterior areas of the project including the “Great Lawn” which will be viewed through the terminals five story atrium and greet visitors with expansive views towards downtown Sacramento and the great Central Valley beyond. The design team will also be responsible for the landscape design of several ancillary buildings, and support service areas, as well as the interface areas to existing Terminal A.
