Professional Background

Mr. vanderToolen has over twenty-five years of landscape architectural design experience and is the founding principal and President of the firm. As President of the firm, Mr. vanderToolen is responsible for the firm's strategic planning, creation and fulfillment of marketing and client objectives, and reviewing the daily operations of both offices. Mr. vanderToolen also provides design guidance and project review, and applies this vision to his extensive experience in community landscape design including masterplanned communities, urban infill developments, high-density housing, redevelopment projects, city and regional parks, community streetscapes, design development standards, destination resort hotels, office, commercial, and specialty retail properties.
